I am one lucky lady. Joe not only built this beautiful website for me but he also got me a little gift for launching it, a FabFitFun box! I've been talking about subscribing for months and it seems he listened. I could never justify the $60CDN price tag every season but it seems I may have been quick to judge. This is definitely worth that money, in my opinion. I don't think I'll stay subscribed but I may treat myself every few seasons to a box. Speaking of staying subscribed, the only negative aspect to this subscription (that I found atleast) was the lack of subscription options. Most boxes allow you to skip the month, and be able to keep your profile and subscription open. FabFitFun does not have that option. The only option is to cancel your subscription all together but by doing so your profile no longer exists. This...

I can be very picky when it comes to mascara. I've had a lot of hits and misses in my time (what an old-timer I am) and only a few "holy grail status" favourites. Mascara is one of those makeup items that completely changes my face. I can hardly go a day without it.I was so excited to get this mascara at Generation Beauty, I had seriously high hopes for it. All the products Tarte has come out with in the last little while have looked so so good.Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara ($28) goes in the mixed feelings pile.I love the brush, pigmentation and staying power. However, I find it to be a very wet, very weighted formula. My lashes are naturally very straight and no matter what, I have to curl them before a mascara application. Don't mind my brows in the photos below. They are slowly growing back after a...

The last few weeks in Ontario have been confusing to say the least. It may be May... sorry for that... but it's been freaking cold! Slowly but surely we're seeing little bits of summers beautiful head peaking through but until than I'm going to keep rocking tights and booties if I have to.My sense of style really isn't everyones cup of tea. I don't own a lot of clothing or accessories but I always try and create something that will make me feel good. At the end of the day, that's all that matters right? Nice sneaky shot Joe! ;)Couldn't open that latch for the life of me! This whole outfit was just thrown together with items I've had in my closet for years. Chambray Shirt: Forever 21 | Houndstooth Skirt: Mango (years ago) - similar | Crossbody Purse: Coach (years ago) - similar | Tights: Dollarstore (because why not) | Booties: Call It Spring (years ago) - similar | Earrings: Bittersweet - similar I dig it...

After much anticipation, last weekend I got to attend Generation Beauty by Ipsy! When we got the event, everything seemed to be planned out. There were even ladies standing with signs, guiding you to the event. Everyone got a lanyard with a ticket page in the back. The page had perferated brand tickets all along the edges, easily removable to hand to each vendor. I honestly loved this system, it was perfectly executed so each attendee got a goodie at each booth. Each line had a zig zag (similar to themepark lines) formation that made waiting in line much more organized and efficent. The space was the perfect size, the vendors were fantastic and friendly. Each booth (other than Caudalie) gave out free goodies. The big lines like Make Up For Ever, Smashbox, NYX & Too Faced were kind of a hassle (sometimes 45 min - 1.5hr+ wait times) but the others were 15...

My obsession with Emerald green has gotten a bit out of hand. So out of hand that when I see people post things that are *soo not* Emerald it actually makes me upset. Apple or Kelly green is not Emerald, and neither is Teal! There are only a few variations I find endearing. I sound insane right?Whether it's incorperating Emerald into fashion, weddings, home decor or jewelry, my love never falters. There is something so classic and elegant about the colour. It feels powerful and weathly but in a charming kind of way. Does that even make sense? Probably not, that's just my obsession talking.Photo Courtesy of Grey Likes WeddingsIf you follow me on Pinterest (which you should), you would see that probably 30% of my pins have some form of Emerald in them. I'm not just dreaming about having an Emerald life, I plan on having one!I want an Emerald wedding. [br]I want...

If I'm invited to your party, chances are I'm bringing Spinach Dip. It's become my go to potluck dish. Easy and delicious, and usually a crowd pleaser. Recently I've been making my own tortillia chips to go along side and those are just as loved.
I have been in love with Kelsey's version for years and decided to try and make my own. I started with a random recipe online and made a few changes to make it my own. I figured it was time to share my recipe!
Let's start off with the Spinach Dip! This recipe makes the perfect amount for any get together with 6-10 people. It takes just over 3 hours including preperations.
What you'll need:
Crockpot (Slow Cooker)
2 1/2 cups (565g) - Cream Cheese
3/4 cup (90g) - Mozzarella Grated
2/3 cup (65g) - Parmesan Flakes (Grated works too)
1 1/3 cup (300g) - Frozen Chopped Spinach
1 teaspoon - Garlic Powder
