Glossy Box - June 2012

July 11, 2012

Yay Glossybox time! This is my favourite subscription box I have tried. Always full size products and always worth the $15! I do notice that the products are mostly drugstore. I would like to receive more high end brands because I am less likely to buy them myself.  As long as Glossybox keeps the pace with these awesome boxes, I will definitely stay subscribed for a while!

This post won't have all in depth photos but I will describe give a first impression review for them all. Once I try out all these products I will most likely do an individual review for each.
From Left to Right: Wella Professional Ocean Spritz - 150ml ($17)
I have yet to try this but I found the scent very summery and calming. I don't tend to use products like this but I'm sure it would be perfect to use on those second day curls.
This is my all time favourite razor. The blades work great and last a long time. The moisture bars aren't overly moisturizing but I usually use some sort of soap or shave gel. The heads aren't cheap but this razor will last a long time if you take care of it correctly.
I have always had a love/hate relationship with these. There has only been a few times I have used them and they worked fantastic! Blackheads are a huge issue for me and I have way more than I would like. I have yet to find a miracle product to diminish my horrid balckheads. Any suggestions?
I used Biore cleansers all throughout my highschool years and I really enjoy their products. Since I have decided to use more natural skincare I gave this cleanser to my brother. His response when I asked if he likes it.. "Yeah, it's great after sweating from hockey and lacrosse. Really deep cleans". He has very similar skin to me, combination acne prone, and I trust his judgement!
Like I have said before I do not like Olay. My aunt uses it so I gave this sample to her (as well as the large Olay product I received in my LuxeBox). She has beautiful skin, so I am sure it works well.
I love getting sample sizes of sunscreen. Perfect for those unexpected super sunny days. I really like this one. Makeup goes on smoothly over it and does not look greasy at all. Blends in well with great protection. It is a perfect, throw in your purse just in-case, sunscreen.
These colours are definitely not for me. I am sure the product itself is great but I cannot get over the colours. This colour combo would probably look great on deeper darker skintones but definitely not for a super pale girl like me. I like the concept but unless their is a sale on I do not see a need to purchase different colours.
That is it for this Glossybox, overall it was quite good! I look forward to this box every month!
