ELF Studio Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15 - Review & Swatches

June 28, 2012

The e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balm's have become some of my most used items. I have been wearing these almost everyday for the last month. The two colours I chose, I feel are perfect for my skin tone. They are great colours and have a great formulation for the summer. I know I will get a lot of use out of these products I will most likely buy the other colours!

Let's talk about the products itself.Packaging:The packaging is my least favourite part of this product. I was a bit taken aback when I first saw this product, it is much larger than expected. It is very light but very bulky, which is very deceiving. The packaging to me is unnecessary and inconvenient but it does not stop me from using it!
I wish e.l.f. would make the labels larger. It is very hard to see the name and the writing rubs off really easily.
Swatches & Quality:
From Left to Right: Mellow Melon, Nice & Natural
They are very pigmented and very moisturizing. The colour last's as long as a standard lip gloss would, not very long. I do not find it clings to any dry patches and does not fade in an odd way. For the price I think the pigmentation is great. There isn't a particular taste but the smell is a tad fruity. If you don't mind re-applying after drinking, eating or anything of the sort than I think you will love these!
From Left to Right: Mellow Melon, Nice & Natural
Price: $3
Size: 7.5g
Colour Selection: 5 shades
Availability: http://eyeslipsface.com, Target & where ever Elf products are sold
Description: "With the e.l.f. Conditioning Lip Balm, lips get treated to a sheer splash of color that’s super smooth, velvety soft and non-sticky. Not only are these sheer, natural shades beautiful, they’re also beneficial, with natural ingredients that condition dry, chapped lips including Vitamins A & E. SPF 15 to protect delicate lips against harmful sun damage."
Overall Rating: 8/10
I will probably purchase the other colours next time I order from e.l.f! If you have a Target close by or don't mind ordering online, I would definitely check these out!
Have you tried any e.l.f. products? Which ones are your favourite?
