After seeing other bloggers receive their September Glossyboxes
, I was very jealous and disappointed that I unsubscribed. In other words, I signed back up, pretty much the day after I saw the un-boxings! Now this is where I'm a tad confused. I signed back up in October but received the September box? Not really sure how that works out, but I'm not really complaining! What is a bit upsetting is that Glossybox is taking after their US sister company and raising the price from $15 monthly, to $21! I am not too sure how I feel about this and I really hope the October box that I will be charged for is not $21 instead of $15... which it most likely will be!
Anyway, let's jump into the goodies!
A pretty well rounded box over all, I'm happy about it!
I'm interested to try this out and see if I notice any colouring difference. I want to start to steer clear of this kind deodorant and start using all natural types. None the less, I'm glad to have this. These little guys always come in handy when you run out!
I have never been a huge fan on the maple scent but I'm interested in trying this out. I don't think I have ever, or possibly, would ever, pay that much for a body lotion. Can you tell I'm a cheapo yet?
Anyway, these small samples are great for traveling and I love that this brand is Canadian!
B. Kamins Lip Balm SPF 20 - Full Size :15g ($21)
That is one expensive lip balm! I'm excited to give this a try! It would have the be the best lip balm I've ever tried to consider paying that price. By the looks of it, maple is very moisturizing. This is the first I've heard of maple in products, definitely a concept I am interested in!
We were given a coupon code for 25% off at b.kamins.com
Wella Professionals Mirror Shine Spray - Full Size: 40ml ($12.99)
On our product card it also said a Shine Serum was included. After seeing a few reviews, many people did not receive the second item. I personally don't mind and am glad to have received this.
The scent is lovely and I've been looking for a product like this for my dull looking hair!
And now for the biggest most exciting product... that was most likely included because the movie failed... but oh well!
Woohoo! I am very excited! Especially since I was just saying that I want more variety for eye shadows!
I will possibly have an indepth review for this, if you would like to see one, let me know! I will definitely be using this a lot!
Here is a peek inside.
24 shadows, 4 sponge applicators & a large mirror!
I love that there are matte, shimmery and frosty shades!
3 different character looks, Sample HD Eyeshadow Base, Sample Eyeliner, 2 small matte blushes, 2 small shimmery blushes, 1 large highlighter, 1 medium shimmery blush, 4 lip colours!
This would be perfect to take traveling. Everything you need basically!
Overall, I am incredibly pleased! I was so disappointed when I had skipped such a good month, but now with all this confusion, I got it anyways?! Hopefully the price increase is worth it for the subscribers!
